HealthTrust Workforce Solutions' corporate headquarters in Sunrise, Fla., is collecting food to donate to Haiti. The food drive was organized by Client Support Analyst Jason Gleicher, who was moved by the recent images of devastation coming from Haiti.
“This was my first hurricane prep,” Jason said regarding Hurricane Matthew, which was expected to hit South Florida last week. “Now I have all this extra food and Haiti has all this extra need.”
Jason will be delivering all non-perishable food items to Food for the Poor, which will ship and distribute the food to Haitians in need. This food drive will run through Friday, October 14.
“Let’s do it right and let’s see how much we can bring in,” Jason said. “I’d like to go drop off items daily.”
