HWS is Dressing for Success

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions on Jan 8, 2019 9:40:09 AM

Dress for Success FinalAt HealthTrust Workforce Solutions our employees are making sure they Dress for Success each and every day. When you Dress for Success not only can you land a position, but it can also lead you on a successful job path for growth within the organization and get you the position that you are aiming for.

Vendor AP Analyst Taeshon Johnson came up with the clever idea for his department to Dress for Success on Wednesdays. He stated that he and a coworker recognized  how much that they not only interact with other departments within HealthTrust but also with our Vendor Partners and how often they see them, they wanted to hold each other accountable and make sure their entire team was making the right impression every time.

“Dressing for success is important to me because not only does it give a good first impression but it makes me feel good,” says Johnson. “Your first impression is always your lasting impression. One’s perception is based on how you look.”

At first, the Accounts Payable team kicked off “Dress for Success Wednesdays.” Soon after that, the Shared Services department, Accounts Receivable department and Billing department followed and began to partake on this event every week. Each department wants to ensure that they are all not only dressing for the position that they have now, but for the position that they want to grow to be in.

A survey from Dress for Success.org reads that 65% of perception is based on your look. 77% of CEOs and Daily Managers believe that how a person dresses for work affects ones future positions and even job salaries.

Overall dressing for the part has numerous benefits when it comes to professional growth. HealthTrust team members show great pride in what we do and we want to ensure this is reflected in our appearances.  We want to encourage all of our staff at HealthTrust to dress for success on not only Wednesdays but each and every day.

“Dressing for success gives me confidence. I want to always be sure that I am representing HWS in a professional manner,” says Johnson.
