## Looking Back on the 2026 HealthTrust Regional Recruiter Summit in Nashville, TN
Here at HealthTrust, we take pride in our ability to provide proven strategies that promote patient satisfaction, employee retention, and workforce efficiencies for our many healthcare clients across the United States.
But we also know that our ability to do so depends on the quality of our recruitment team. So, we make it a point to support those professionals in every possible way, each and every day — from comprehensive day-one training for new hires through ongoing professional development and engaging team-building exercises for our valued staff members.
And last month's first-ever HealthTrust Regional Recruiter Summit was a perfect example of those efforts. Held in Nashville, Tennessee, the event offered a chance for our HealthTrust recruitment superstars to come together and engage in some constructive team-building, skill development, and good old fashioned fun!
### Baseball, team-building & insights from our top recruiters
Among other activities, the summit included everything from field-based team exercises, a baseball game outing, and a panel where our top-performing recruiters were interviewed by HealthTrust VP of Professional Development John Ruffini, a highly accomplished [staffing industry leader](https://americanstaffing.net/sw25/speakers/john-ruffini/) who build our first-ever professional development team and continues to lead those efforts today.
In addition to Ruffini's guidance, other key HealthTrust leaders from departments ranging from staffing, operations, education, and compliance were also on hand to lend their support, including Jamie Anderson, fresh off her recent [role expansion](https://engage.healthtrustjobs.com/ethics-compliance-officer-vp-clinical-operations-education-jamie-anderson) and [Nurses Week profile](https://healthtrustjobs.com/jamie-anderson-featured-in-sfbj-nurses-week/) in the *South Florida Business Journal*.
And when it was all said and done, every participant, from newly hired recruiters to department leaders, all walked away with a stronger sense of their role as one of healthcare's top recruiters — and eager to take the exemplary, game-changing service they provide to the clinicians and clients we serve to all-new levels!
