# Celebrating Recruitment's Q4 2021 Employees of the Month

Each month, the HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Recruitment Team recognizes an Employee of the Month for surpassing their goals and exemplifying Operational Excellence. Congratulations to Q4 2021 Employees of the Month Monica Gallego (StarRN Recruiter), Alecia Martin-Mullings (Dialysis Recruiter), and Gabriel Moreno (Account Manager).
**Employee of the Month, October 2021: Monica Gallego, StarRN Recruiter**
Monica, the October 2021 Employee of the Month, has been with HealthTrust Workforce Solutions for almost 4 years, most recently as a StarRN Instructor/Vascular Access/SimOps recruiter.
StaRN is a unique educational program designed to meet a critical need for specialty nurses. The program provides intensive training to newly-licensed nurses. In her role, she is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and placing experienced nurses within the StaRN Program who will provide clinical instruction. Monica also works to identify Simulation Operators who help support the hands-on, simulation aspects of the StaRN Program. Another area of focus for her is Vascular Access. Monica works with Vascular Access RNs to connect them with rewarding career opportunities in which they will be responsible for planning, organizing, and evaluating patient care interventions.
Monica's favorite part of working in her position is the diversity that she encounters while supporting the recruitment needs of 3 distinct lines of business. This allows her to grow and expand her creativity, communication, and sales skills.
Outside of work, Monica is a nail technician and loves her two pugs, Molly & Tazz.
**Employee of the Month, November 2021: Alecia Martin-Mullins, Dialysis Recruiter**

Alecia, the November 2021 Employee of the Month, has worked with HealthTrust Workforce Solutions throughout her career in a variety of capacities, including credentialing, sourcing, and recruitment. She currently works as a Senior Dialysis Recruiter and places dialysis clinical staff throughout HCA Healthcare Divisions and facilities.
Her favorite part of her job and working with HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is being able to work with the company in a wide variety of ways. She especially enjoys the culture and the people of HealthTrust Workforce Solutions. Each team Alecia has worked for felt like family, with exemplary, inspirational, and motivational leaders. She enjoys recruitment and knowing that she's helping patients, clinicians and clients help satisfy my passion for helping people.
Outside of work, Alecia is a foodie and loves eating healthy, balanced meals.
**Employee of the Month,** **December** **2021: Gabriel Moreno, Account Manager**

Gabriel, the December 2021 Employee of the Month, has been with HealthTrust Workforce Solutions for nearly 6 years. Gabriel is an account manager and he works to build relationships with our staffing vendor partners in Texas and the Gulf Coast.
Gabriel's favorite part of his position with HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is the opportunity he has to work closely with healthcare facilities and staffing vendor partners to ensure the delivery of quality patient care. He also enjoys working with his fellow HWS team members and the HWS leadership team.
Outside of work Gabriel enjoys reading and is a huge food lover.
