North Florida Regional Medical Center is a 445-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care hospital in Gainesville, Florida. Known for having the shortest wait time of all emergency facilities in the area, this HCA facility specializes in cardiovascular care, oncology, wound therapy, and more. The Center also recently opened two state-of-the-art, freestanding emergency rooms.
The facility has earned numerous awards and distinctions, which include a designation as a Blue Distinction Center for Knee and Hip Replacement, Spine, and Bariatric Surgery, as well as being certified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and a Quality Top Performer by The Joint Commission.
