Nurses are at the heart of healthcare and that has never been more apparent than throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. During Nurses Week 2021, we have a special opportunity to recognize these special healthcare heroes.

Nurses Week is celebrated annually, May 6-12. The World Health Organization (WHO) declared 2020 the International Year of the Nurse and the Midwife to honor of the 200th anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth and to advance nurses’ vital role in transforming health care around the world. HealthTrust Workforce Solutions stands in support of extending this recognition into 2021 to continue to shine a light on the valuable impact nurses have made throughout the pandemic and beyond.

The pandemic has challenged us all in many ways, yet nurses have continued to deliver steadfast patient care without skipping a beat.
