# HealthTrust Hero: Claudine Chambers-Sewell

Payroll Manager Claudine Chambers-Sewell is our next corporate HealthTrust Hero! Claudine and her team were recognized for their tireless work following the Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma disaster relief efforts.
During this time, Claudine and her team of seven not only kept the payroll for clinicians and corporate employees on track, but also for the 200 additional disaster relief personnel deployed to the affected areas. Although they faced long hours and the impact of Hurricane Irma on their own South Florida office location, the payroll team persevered to ensure that everyone received their paychecks and any payroll corrections as timely as possible.
“I always remember that what I do affects someone: Their bills, their food, and their children,” Claudine says. “That $50 someone may be missing from their paycheck could make a huge difference in their lives.”
Claudine joined the HealthTrust Workforce Solutions team three years ago with more than two decades of experience in healthcare payroll. A natural problem solver, Claudine says the keys to her success include the ability to think outside the box and a willingness to go the extra mile.
“To me, I was just doing my job,” she says. “It felt good for my team and me to be recognized.”
Outside of the office, Claudine enjoys going to church and cooking for family and friends, especially Jamaican cuisine staples like jerk chicken and pork.
