2016 was a big year for HealthTrust Workforce Solutions! Let’s take a look back at some of our most popular blog posts of the year.

On September 19, we officially changed our name from Parallon Workforce Solutions to HealthTrust Workforce Solutions. Although our name may be different, we are still committed to positively impacting patient care, employee satisfaction, and workforce ethics.

In the wake of Hurricane Matthew, we flew 18 nurses to South Carolina to assist Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach. In addition, a [food drive](https://engage.healthtrustjobs.com/healthtrust-workforce-helps-haiti) was held at our corporate headquarters for people in Haiti who were affected by the hurricane.

We held a company-wide costume contest on October 31. Five individuals received gift cards for Best Costume, while the Best Group Contest winners received a free lunch.

We really got into the holiday spirit this year! From wearing ugly sweaters to building gingerbread houses and [collecting toys](https://engage.healthtrustjobs.com/hws-holiday-cheer-kids), our offices were full of holiday cheer.
