National CNA Week is here again, a time to celebrate nursing assistants and aides all the amazing and essential work they do, each and every day. Whether you’re a CNA, patient, co-worker, or anyone else, here’s what you should know, and a few ways to celebrate and support the cause!

## CNA Week 2026: CNAs, You're “Unbelievable!”
A time to recognize and honor the almost one million CNAs working across the United States, National CNA Week is organized each year by the [National Association of Health Care Assistants (NAHCA)](https://www.nahcacna.org/), the leading professional group for nursing assistants.
And in the words of the NAHCA, the purpose of National CNA Week is a chance for everyone to thank these "frontline heroes" for the essential work they do caring for elders, people with disabilities, and so many others, every day.
That's a sentiment we agree with here at HealthTrust — and one that fits perfectly with this year’s theme of “We’re Unbelievable!” Because the work these professionals do is truly as unbelievable as it is essential.
### When is National CNA Week 2026?
Kicking off on the second Thursday of June each year, the 2026 edition of National CNA Week starts on June 11th and runs through June 17th. So, mark your calendars, and get ready to celebrate! And whether you're a CNA or anyone else, we've got a few tips on how to do just that.
