The American Staffing Association designates September 16-22 as National Staffing Employee Week, a time to celebrate the contributions of the 17 million individuals who use staffing agencies to find their next contract or temporary position. On behalf of the HealthTrust Workforce Solutions organization, we would like to personally thank all the clinicians, interim leaders, and other professionals who entrust their careers to HealthTrust.

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is proud to recognize the Professional Development Group. This team is made up of three seasoned professionals who work strategically to ensure every department within the company is trained in areas such as customer service excellence and recruitment best practices.

The latest BLS Economic Situation reported that the U.S. economy created 130,000 new jobs in August and payroll wages have increased by 3.2% over the past 12 months. The healthcare sector continues to boost the Jobs Report, contributing 23,900 jobs and accounting for 18% of all job creation last month.

Congratulations to Billie Mosley on becoming our first team member to earn HealthTrust Hero two times!

Billie Mosley currently holds a dual role as both Director of MSP Operations and Director of Client Delivery. In his operations role, Billie supports all of our MSP clients through designing reporting, validating data, implementing best practices, and serving as a consultant for any issues that may arise. For his role in client delivery, Billie manages the communications and escalations for one of our large health system clients.

“I love what I do – I wouldn’t be satisfied if I only had one type of task every day,” Billie says. “I thrive in a little bit of chaos.”

As part of our ongoing organizational commitment to professional development, HealthTrust Workforce Solutions recently hosted a training session focused on recruitment best practices. This training is designed to help our recruiters become more proficient in their day-to-day activities as they work to deliver the highest level candidate experience and connect clinicians with meaningful work.

Congratulations to our August 2019 recruitment training graduates!  Our Professional Development Group hosts a wide variety of training sessions at our corporate office in Sunrise and throughout our regional offices in support of our mission to deliver operational excellence within our high-performance culture.

Congratulations to Anne Marie Mello, RN, on earning a DAISY Award! Anne Marie is a HealthTrust nurse who works at Englewood Community Hospital located on Florida's west coast, and was presented with the award by this facility. 

"To me, the DAISY Award represents the truest form of nursing validation and is the highest honor in my nursing career," Anne Marie says. 

On Saturday, August 10^th, team members from the HWS Sunrise office volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, which is working to build seventy-five homes for low income families in the community. Together, the Sunrise team painted a four bedroom, two story home! Thank you to those who came and volunteered their Saturday to give back to the community!
