# Recognizing Recruitment's Employees of the Month and Team of the Quarter

Each month, the HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Recruitment Team recognizes an Employee of the Month and each Quarter they recognize a Team of the Quarter for exceeding their goals and exemplifying Operational Excellence. Congratulations to Employees of the Month Christine Ortino, Sherby Chevry, Layana Watts, and the Team of the Quarter, HCA Perm Placement Team!

**January Employee of the Month: Christine Ortino, Perm Account Manager**
Christine joined HealthTrust in the fall of 2018. In her role as account manager, it is her job to place nurses at our HCA Healthcare facilities in the Far West, Mid America, Continental, and Mountain Divisions. These nurses fill core vacancies that are crucial to patient care.
“I was very surprised and felt blessed to be named Employee of the Month,” says Christine. “I have a great team and we bring out the best in one another.”
**February Employee of the Month: Sherby Chevry, Associate Recruiter**
Sherby started her journey here at HealthTrust in the spring of 2017. Her job is to source and screen qualified nurses for our HCA Healthcare facilities in Texas. Sherby builds relationships with her nurses to not only ensure that she is providing a great hiring experience, but also because pf her desire to ensure that our patients are receiving the best healthcare possible.
“The collaboration and vision that my team and I share is one of the best parts about my job,” says Sherby about her role. “I truly felt grateful for being recognized for my hard work and being rewarded.”
**March Employee of the Month: Layana Watts, Associate Recruiter**
Layana has been a part of the HealthTrust team since summer of 2018. Like Sherby, her role is to source and identify qualified nurses for our HCA Healthcare facilities in the state of Florida.
“The best part about my job is knowing that I am truly making a difference in not only the lives of the nurses that I help assist, but ultimately the patients that our nurses are providing care to,” says Layana. “It feels great to be recognized, but it is absolutely humbling considering the dynamic team that I have the pleasure of working with.”
**Team of the Quarter: HCA Perm Placement**
Our Perm Placement Team was recognized for the outstanding achievements they made during the first quarter of 2019. The team earned the recognition by focusing on building strong relationships with their nurses and helping them find the right job where they can best provide quality patient care.
“Productivity and resource utilization is what earned this team the award,” says Lisa Acevedo, VP of Recruitment.
The team continues to strive for success in the upcoming year to ensure that they are finding meaningful work for nurses and positively impacting patient care across the organization.
