Our Director of Orthopedics oversees the operations of the Surgical, Orthopedic, Neurosurgical unit Services and manages the Nursing Float Pool . Plans, directs and coordinates all operational activities for areas of responsibility. Develops policies and procedures as well as the quality improvement programs for areas of responsibility. Develops the capital and operating budgets. Ensures areas of responsibility are appropriately staffed by hiring and retaining competent staff. As a member of Good Samaritan Hospital's management team makes a significant contribution to the public's perception of the hospital. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- BSN required
- S. or Equivalent
- A. / M.S. preferred
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
- Orthopedic Certification, preferred
License/Certifications
- California Registered Nurse License
- ACLS Certification preferred
- BLS Certification
Experience
- 3-5 Years in inpatient acute setting required
- 3-5 Years Managerial
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and range from $121k -195k.
