Our hospital is also home to the Senior Transitions program – a 15-bed specialty unit for seniors with emotional and behavioral issues requiring short-term acute stabilization. Overview
Develops, coordinates and utilizes specialized knowledge and skill in planning, organizing, directing, and administering medically prescribed programs/interventions in the hospital and/or outpatient unit to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury or loss of a body part.
Requirements
B. Education: Masters or Doctorate of Physical Therapy
C. Experience: Appropriate clinical affiliations
D. Special qualifications: Must successfully complete a competency assessment
Degree of Supervision Required: Minimal supervision from the Director
Essential Functional Requirements: Must possess the ability to perform patient evaluation and treatment which includes performing and interpreting tests to assist in differential diagnosis, and to determine the degree of impairment of relevant aspects, but not limited to; muscle strength, pain, motor development, motion restrictions, and functional capacity. Able to physically support a patient’s weight during transfers and ambulation with the assistance of a gait belt.
Compensation commensurate with experience with base salary range from $32/hr.(low) to $51.20/hr. (high) depending on relevant YOE. Competitive sign-on bonus available.
