Ocala Health encompasses Ocala Regional Medical Center, currently a 222-bed facility located in the heart of Ocala, and West Marion Community Hospital, a 94-bed hospital located in West Marion County. The hospitals offer a host of other quality and award winning services including bariatric surgery, orthopedic care and joint replacement, robotic surgery, cardiac and vascular services including open heart surgery and interventional procedures, emergency, neurological and rehabilitation services. Ocala Regional Medical Center is also a Level II Trauma Center. Ocala Health’s outpatient facilities include Family Care Specialists, a primary care network of seven locations throughout Marion County; Advanced Imaging Centers with two locations; a freestanding Wound and Hyperbaric Center; a Senior Wellness Community Center; and four surgical and physician specialty practices.
Summary
Our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit nurses possess a high level of education and experience that allow them to collaborate, treat, and manage conditions with a trusted Cardiothoracic team. They provide care to patients with coronary heart disease, provide post-operative care to those recovering from bypass surgery, thoracic and/or vascular surgeries. They work to promote optimal cardiovascular health among clients through monitoring, maintenance and preventative measures.
Qualifications
- Current/Valid Florida RN License
- BLS
- ACLS
- Completion of critical care course or equivalent prior to completion of orientation period. Completion of basic dysrhythmia exam within 3 months
- Facility will consider ICU RN with strong experience
Compensation commensurate with experience with salary range between $23.46 - $35.19 (clinical ladder with potential of increasing rate of pay by $3.00 per hour.) Sign on bonus up to $10K / relocation: case-by-case.
