Blake Medical Center is located in Bradenton, Florida, just minutes from the beautiful Gulf Coast beaches of Manatee County. Our 383-bed, level II trauma center and has received official verification by the American College of Surgeons. Education
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required, BSN preferred
Licensure/Certification
- Current Florida State Registered Nursing license
- Current BLS and ACLS through American Heart Association required
- Current NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification preferred; required within 6 months
Experience
- Minimum one year RN experience preferred
- Customer service abilities including effective listening skills
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds

Compensation commensurate with experience with salary range between $25-$35/hr., $5K sign on bonus, $3.50/hr for float pool is an added “specialty” differential applied to float pool RNs. There would be an additional $4.50/hr for night shift differential.
