Ocala Health is the health organization which encompasses Ocala Regional Medical Center, a 222-bed facility located in the heart of Ocala, and West Marion Community Hospital, a 94-bed hospital located in West Marion County. The organization includes the only Commission on Cancer approved cancer center in Marion County and inpatient Joint Care Center. It offers a host of medical services including bariatric surgery, cardiac and vascular, emergency, neurological and rehabilitation services and a variety of outpatient services.

The Registered Nurse is responsible to Charge Nurse and Nursing Director for the delivery of quality patient care utilizing the nursing process. The quality of care given will be in keeping with the philosophy and objectives of the hospital and the Department of Nursing and will maintain and support the standards of nursing care and practice in order to meet the health care needs of patients, their families and the community.

The Registered Nurse prescribes, delegates and coordinates all nursing care provided throughout the hospital. The RN supervises patient care support personnel. The RN is responsible for meeting all standards associated with performance, nursing practice and nursing care.

License and Education

• Current Florida RN License
• BLS
• One year RN OR experience preferred

Compensation commensurate with $23.46-$35.19/hr.
