Social Worker (LCSW or LMHC) Assessment Specialist
Shifts: 2 days - 11A to 11P and 2 days - 11A to 7P – OR – 2 days - 3P to 3A and 2 days - 7P to 3A

The Center for Behavioral Health offers inpatient care for children, adolescents and adults and a one-of-a-kind geriatric program. The Wound Healing Center offers expert care for non-healing wounds. Their Emergency Room offers family-friendly care for children and special amenities for seniors.
Summary
The ARC department operates on a 24/7 basis and will be rapidly expanding, requiring multiple new clinicians to join this exciting team.
Using the latest telemedicine technology, the Assessment Specialist responds to requests from local HCA Hospitals for psychiatric crisis assessments of patients within HCA emergency rooms, psychiatric intake departments and hospital medical floors.
Activity may include mental status evaluation, recommendations to physician regarding patient's level of behavioral health care needs, and confirmation of medical stability for inpatient psychiatric admission.
The Assessment Specialist also receives calls from the community requesting information and referral, reviews requests for behavioral health admission from community referral sources, and coordinates with the HCA Transfer Center for moving patients to the most appropriate behavioral health placement.
Qualifications
- Licensure- LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist required
- Education- Master’s Degree or above in Behavioral Health
- Experience- 2 years of Behavioral Health experience required, 3 years with Psychiatric Assessment/Intake preferred
Compensation commensurate with experience with salary range between $26.30 (min) - $31.55 (mid) plus Sign-On Bonus
