HealthTrust Workforce Solutions (HWS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of HCA Healthcare, is pleased to announce that we will begin implementing a web-based credentialing verification system, HWSVerified credentialing, at Wesley Medical Center, Wesley Woodlawn Hospital, Wesley West ER, and Wesley Derby ER beginning February 5, 2020.  HealthTrust promotes safety by ensuring that all non-employee healthcare professionals receive credential verification prior to entering any HCA Healthcare facility.

Here is what you need to know:

• The new process replaces any previous credentialing provided at Wesley and Wesley Woodlawn facilities, whether performed internally or by an outside vendor.
  
  • All Users – Major differences with HealthTrust HCA Healthcare Credentialing:
    
    • No attestations accepted for: background check verifications, drug screens, or immunizations.
    • Background check – Satisfactory report and criminal history cannot be older than 5 years or will need to be repeated.
    • Drug screens – if your drug screen did not include the following drugs, an updated drug screen will need to be performed (either saliva or urine specimen [no rapid tests]): Amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, marijuana, cocaine, opiates, methadone.
• Please note that additional credentials will be required and new fees are associated.
• Registration opens February 5, 2020, and must be completed by May 5, 2020.
  • On February 5, visit HWSVerified.com (must use Google Chrome), select “Verified Professional” and then “Create Account.”
  • Failure to comply with credentialing in the new system will result in no access to the Wesley Healthcare facilities
