Summary
West Florida Hospital is searching for a Director of Cardiovascular Services. This role provides clinical administration and leadership for Cardiovascular Services Service Line. Promotes quality, cost containment, clinical protocols, technology, efficiencies, and supply utilization. Represents the hospital by memberships in related professional and community associations. Monitors and ensures service line quality (e.g. clinical outcomes, credentialing/privileging, processes, services, satisfaction). Manages staffing patterns for efficient throughput. Responsible for keeping Chest Pain and A-fib (others as assigned) accreditations current. Assists with marketing and promotions of cardiovascular service line. Under the direction of the Cardiovascular Service Line Administrator, performs duties as needed and assigned for the department, or delegates to supervisors or Managers. Promotes teamwork and high quality customer service. Ensures that quality, safety, and TJC standards are consistently met. Participates in the Quality Improvement process.
NOTE: The individual selected for this position needs to be strong clinically and have experience in the Cath Lab. MUST be an RN. A strong Cardio/Cath Lab Manager is best suited for this position.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- RN (BSN/MSN) required
- 3 years minimum healthcare leadership experience
- 5 years’ experience preferred in Cath Lab and Cardiovascular or Critical Care
Compensation commensurate with experience with salary range between $90K - $110K plus full benefit package. Sign-on and relocation available for qualified candidates
