Director of Cardiovascular Services – West Florida Hospital

Director of Cardiovascular Services- This role provides clinical administration and leadership for Cardiovascular Services Service Line. Under the direction of the Cardiovascular Service Line Administrator, performs duties as needed and assigned for the department, or delegates to supervisors or Managers.  Promotes teamwork and high quality customer service. Ensures that quality, safety, and TJC standards are consistently met. Participates in the Quality Improvement process.

  • Promotes quality, cost containment, clinical protocols, technology, efficiencies, and supply utilization.
  • Represents the hospital by memberships in related professional and community associations.
  • Monitors and ensures service line quality (e.g. clinical outcomes, credentialing/privileging, processes, services, satisfaction).
  • Manages staffing patterns for efficient throughput. 
  • Responsible for keeping Chest Pain and A-fib (others as assigned) accreditations current.
  • Assists with marketing and promotions of cardiovascular service line.

Credentialing Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • RN or RCIS preferred
  • 3 years minimum healthcare leadership experience
  • 5 years’ experience preferred in Cath Lab and Cardiovascular or Critical Care

Compensation commensurate with experience with salary range between $37.26-$57.75/hr.
