Ocala Regional Medical Center is a 200-bed acute care facility and Level II Trauma Center.  Located in the heart of Ocala with the only Commission on Cancer approved cancer center in Marion County. The hospital offers a host of other quality and award winning services including bariatric surgery, orthopedic care and joint replacement, robotic surgery, cardiac and vascular services including open heart surgery and interventional procedures, emergency, neurological and rehabilitation services.

Summary

The Director Surgical Services reports to the CNO, and is responsible for the overall administration and organization of Sterile Processing Department/Same Day Surgery/ PACU/OR/SPD and ENDO.

The Director Surgical Services serves as a liaison for the hospital to internal and external organizations, including various regulatory agencies, board members, surgeons and other healthcare providers, etc. It is expected that the Director of Surgical Services will provide strategic leadership and vision to the department, challenging assumptions and standards of business, in an effort to improve overall operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN licensure.
• BSN  required.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• BLS required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Minimum of three to five years of Director of perioperative surgical management experience in an acute care setting.

Compensation commensurate with experience with salary range between $120K - $130K plus full benefit package
