Our acute care hospital is located in the heart of Silicon Valley with two locations, the main campus in San Jose and Mission Oaks campus in Los Gatos. Good Samaritan Hospital is recognized as a leader in neurosciences, high-risk obstetrics, comprehensive cancer services, advanced cardiology and innovative surgery techniques. We were the first of five hospitals in the country and the first in Santa Clara County to become a Stroke Certified Hospital. Scope of work

The Director of Surgical Services will have 5 director reports and 180 indirect reports, all in surgical services. We have 14 Operation Rooms and do 25-30 cases per day. Our hospital covers everything but Transplant and Burns, and are keenly focused on outcomes and patient satisfaction. This is a very fast paced OR and carries a lot of responsibility. Our annual ED volume is ~60,000 per year and we carry a census of ~220 per day.


Job Requirements

  • BSN
  • CA Nursing license, or be able to obtain one
  • BCLS Certification
  • 3-5 years of progressive hospital/nursing management experience
  • Master’s Degree is preferred
  • CNOR preferred

 

Compensation commensurate on experience with a salary range between $121-$195k/yr.
