Summary
Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services / Perioperative, the Manager of Surgical Services is responsible for all functions in respective Surgical Services areas inclusive of the Main Operating Rooms, Open Heart, OR Materials/ Billing personnel and Surgical Services Educator. Other responsibilities include:
- Organize the functions of the department through the appropriate assignment of responsibilities, delegation of authority and overall direction of the department
- Support and participate in the goals of the organization’s quality improvement, risk management and patient safety program
- Effectively communicate with administration, medical staff, employees, and other departments to coordinate efforts, meet special needs, and address problems or concerns
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must hold one of the following licenses/certifications: RN, CCRN, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Therapist.
- Current FL Nursing License
- Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing
- BSN required, Master’s preferred
- 3 years of OR Management experience preferred
- Knowledge of Anesthesia and Pain Medicine
- BLS Certification Required
- Organizational, interpersonal and verbal skills required
Compensation commensurate with experience with salary range between $73K-$95K!
