Full-time/ Days (rotating Weekends)

Kendall Regional Medical Center is a 417-bed, full-service hospital providing 24-hour comprehensive medical, trauma, burn, surgical, behavioral health and diagnostic services, along with a wide range of patient and community services. Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services / Perioperative, the Manager of Surgical Services is responsible for all functions in respective Surgical Services areas inclusive of the Main Operating Rooms, Open Heart, OR Materials/ Billing personnel and Surgical Services Educator.

Responsibilities include:

• Organize the functions of the department through the appropriate assignment of responsibilities, delegation of authority and overall direction of the department
• Support and participate in the goals of the organization’s quality improvement, risk management and patient safety program
• Effectively communicate with administration, medical staff, employees, and other departments to coordinate efforts, meet special needs, and address problems or concerns

Qualifications:

• Current FL Nursing License
• Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing
• BSN required, Master’s preferred
• 3 years of OR Management experience preferred
• Knowledge of Anesthesia and Pain Medicine
• BLS Certification Required
• Organizational, interpersonal and verbal skills required

Compensation will be commensurate with experience with salary range between $73k-$95k/yr.
