Oncology nurses are supported on a personal level and on an educational level as we strive to become the best place to work and practice oncology nursing! Our oncology nurses at Medical City are professionals who have completed specialty education for oncology and many hold a specialty certification in Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant. We are accredited by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons (ACOS), and in 2015 we have been awarded the prestigious Commission on Cancer Outstanding Achievement Award. The Bone marrow Transplant Program has been here since 1994 is accredited by FACT.
Credentialing Requirements
- Current RN License
- BLS is required
- ACLS required within 1 year
- ONS chemo biotherapy card preferred but not required
- AND required
- BSN preferred
Compensation commensurate with years of experience with a range between $24-$41/hr.
