Full-time Nights (Rotating Weekends)

We have a growth strategy in trauma and emergency services, having recently obtained Level III Designation and working toward Level II.
Summary
The RN ICU provides general nursing care to patients in hospital. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques. Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatments and examinations of patients. Observes patient, record significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of patient’s condition and reaction to drugs, treatments and significant incidents. Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition to patient. May rotate among various clinical services of hospital depending on staffing needs. May prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipment and supplies, and hand items to physician or other medical practitioner. May make beds, bathe and feed patients. May serve as leader for the group of personnel rendering nursing care to a number of patients.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with either an ADN or BSN degree
- Must hold a current license from the Georgia Board of Nursing. Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), (Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider card) required. ACLS required upon hire or within one year. Certification in Basic and Advance Rhythm Interpretation upon hire or successfully completed within 12 months of hire
- No experience required, but previous PCU, ICU, ER or Critical Care experience highly preferred
Compensation commensurate with experience with salary range between $24.33 to $36.49 plus $2.00 hr. critical care differential. Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus potential / Up to $1500 relocation allowance dependent upon distance.
