Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center (P/SL) provides state-of-the-art, complex medical care in the heart of Denver treating patients from all over the Rocky Mountain region. We are home to a Cancer Center distinguished by the Commission on Cancer as a Center of Excellence and the largest Bone Marrow Transplant Center in the Rocky Mountain region. P/SL holds centers of excellence designations in Neonatal Intensive Care, Spine and Joint Care and Bariatric Surgery as well as Stroke Certification and Level IV trauma.
Obstetric RN
- Oversees and directs the care of pregnant women and their families.
- Responsible for the care of pregnant patients and their families in antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.
- Cares for the patient during vaginal and cesarean delivery, as well as other OB surgical procedures.
- Serves as primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Oversees and directs the care of assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients.
- Will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Position Requirements
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse
- BLS Healthcare Provider
- NRP within 3 months of hire
- ACLS within 6 months of hire.
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Course within 1 year.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
- Two years’ of L&D and acute care experience preferred.
