Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services / Perioperative, the Manager of Surgical Services is responsible for all functions in respective Surgical Services areas inclusive of the Main Operating Rooms, Open Heart, OR Materials/ Billing personnel and Surgical Services Educator.
Responsibilities include:
- Organize the functions of the department through the appropriate assignment of responsibilities, delegation of authority and overall direction of the department
- Support and participate in the goals of the organization’s quality improvement, risk management and patient safety program
- Effectively communicate with administration, medical staff, employees, and other departments to coordinate efforts, meet special needs, and address problems or concerns
Qualifications:
- Current FL Nursing License
- Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing
- BSN required, Master’s preferred
- 3 years of OR Management experience preferred
- Knowledge of Anesthesia and Pain Medicine
- BLS Certification Required
- Organizational, interpersonal and verbal skills required
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and range between $73k-$95k/annually.
