Women’s  and Children’s Hospital located in Lafayette, Louisiana, is a 110-bed hospital. Beyond our newborn nursery and full range of routine and high-risk obstetrical care, Women's & Children's Hospital has the only Level III Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Acadiana and one of only eight in the state. Women's & Children's Hospital is also home to Acadiana’s only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and the region’s only children-dedicated emergency department, the kids ER.

Our Director of Orthopedics oversees the operations of the Surgical, Orthopedic, Neurosurgical unit Services and manages the Nursing Float Pool . Plans, directs and coordinates all operational activities for areas of responsibility. Develops policies and procedures as well as the quality improvement programs for areas of responsibility. Develops the capital and operating budgets. Ensures areas of responsibility are appropriately staffed by hiring and retaining competent staff. As a member of Good Samaritan Hospital's management team makes a significant contribution to the public's perception of the hospital. Performs additional duties as assigned.
