Our Dallas leadership team hosted a breakfast in appreciation of their local staff members! The leaders prepared and served a breakfast of pancakes, eggs, bacon, and more.

The latest BLS Economic Situation reported that the U.S. economy created 136,000 new jobs in September and the unemployment rate dropped to 3.5% reaching a 50-year low.  Healthcare contributed more than a quarter last month’s job growth, adding 38,800 jobs to the economy. The bulk of new healthcare jobs were within ambulatory care (28,700), with hospitals adding 8,100 jobs.

The HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Leadership Development Program is designed to cultivate the continuous growth and professional development of our team members through formal mentorship, leadership exercises, presentation skills development and more. Each year, the organization selects a new group of about 20 leaders to complete the Leadership Development Program.

“My biggest takeaway from the program was the importance of behavioral growth,” says Ashlee Joselin, Director of Enterprise Operations, who completed the program in 2019. “You can be a subject matter expert in your field, but if you don’t possess the leadership skills and capabilities to drive your team toward success, you won’t make it very far.”

Our Nashville team assisted The Bridge Ministry with their weekly meal and clothing distribution for local individuals in need. The team unloaded a semi-truck full of groceries, set up the distribution area, passed out items to guests, and helped pack everything up for next week's distribution.
