# Career Spotlight: Regional Recruiter

We're looking to hire Regional Recruiters across the country! If you're passionate about the healthcare industry and know your local market well, consider this exciting career opportunity in healthcare staffing.
Our Regional Recruiter is responsible for managing the recruitment and job placement process for clinical professionals within a designated region. This requires frequent communication with prospective candidates, current candidates working in the market, and with the local facilities.
"The choices we make in hiring our nurses has a huge impact on our patients in the HCA hospitals," says Andria Boyden, Senior Regional Recruiter for the Gulf Coast region. "It is a wonderful career if you love people and you have to enjoy the challenge."
Our Regional Recruiters are self starters who thrive in a competitive environment. These high-energy individuals must provide world-class customer service, source their own candidates, and find creative approaches to problem solving.
"To be a successful recruiter, you must love what you do," says Jennifer Doing, Senior Regional Recruiter for Texas. "I learn something every single day from the nurses and clinicians I get to speak with. If you think of it, recruiting is just match making and building relationships: I am matching the clinicians I get to speak with to all of our open opportunities."
Qualified applicants need at least a high school diploma or GED, as well as at least one year of staffing agency experience. Associate's degree and healthcare staffing experience are preferred but not required.
