Congratulations to Haley B., RN, on earning a DAISY Award!
The DAISY Award recognizes and celebrates those nurses who demonstrate compassion, provide warmth, and go above and beyond to bring excellent care to their patients and families every day.
Haley is an employee at our HCA Healthcare Oviedo Medical Center and she was nominated by a patient named Juana, who expressed how loving Haley was after her post-surgery. Read her full nomination below.
“I have been through a major hysterectomy for ovarian cancer, and Haley has made me feel like a family member as I came alone. She was attentive and caring and did everything she could to comfort me. Due to my cancer, I was depressed and afraid, but Haley continued to soothe me with her kind words. I appreciate her helping me fix my IV and encouraging me to relax, and for that, I will forever remember her.”
