We are proud to present Raluca Khrino with the DAISY Award! Raluca exhibited extraordinary care and expertise in helping a patient at Plantation General Hospital.
Raluca's DAISY nomination can be read in full below:
"Raluca was called in in the middle of the day to accept a team from one of our own who got ill. She came with a positive attitude and the confidence we needed on a day that was speeding away from us. She later received a patient from the ED and within minutes of receiving said patient, Raluca noted that she was not steady and seemed dazed. The patient had an order for an MRI and she accompanied the patient while activating a stroke alert. The patient was indeed positive for a cerebral insult and was later transferred to the ICU.
Please help us to recognize and commend her for her astute and quick assessment on an unknown patient whom she did not even have time to familiarize herself with. She saved that patient from progressing to conditions that might have been irreversible."
