Nurses fly from Nashville to Houston to help in Myrtle Beach

As the southeastern coast of the United States and the eastern Caribbean felt the impact of Hurricane Matthew last week, many individuals rushed to help those affected by the storm. When Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, S.C., needed 18 additional nurses to staff their hospital, HealthTrust Workforce Solutions stepped up to the challenge.

Within four hours of the request, nine nurses flew from Nashville to Myrtle Beach to offer assistance. An additional nine nurses flew in from Houston to fulfill the request.

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions would like to thank its nurses and staff for their compassion and sense of urgency in helping these people in need. Our hearts go out to all of the individuals whose lives were impacted by the storm.
