Kevin Marzilli is our next corporate HealthTrust Hero! Kevin works at our South Florida headquarters as the Office Manager, responsible for the functionality, safety, and cleanliness of the facility.
“I was overwhelmed by the support I received from the senior management and from my peers,” Kevin says of his nomination. “All of the emails congratulating me were touching and unexpected.”
A Boston-area native, Kevin ran a children’s theater group for more than 10 years in New England and later established a successful career in public broadcasting. Introverted by nature, Kevin decided to transition to a career outside of the spotlight and found his new passion in facility management. He joined our HealthTrust team in the spring of 2014.
“HealthTrust offers a very diverse and warm, welcoming environment to work in,” Kevin says. “Diversity is HealthTrust’s strength, and leadership recognizes that.”
Kevin is often among the first team members to greet new staffers, as he creates each employee’s nameplate and ensures their workstations are fully supplied. His presence continues to be known through alerting staff to any announcements from the property managers, as well as running the combined mail and supply room. While his contributions to the company are apparent, he is also very mindful of the contributions of the rest of the HealthTrust team.
“There are a lot of HealthTrust Heroes working diligently every day,” Kevin says.
He gives special mention to Silvia Casco, who maintains the facility’s common areas, and Kim VanWie, who helps with numerous tasks like express shipping, distribution of office supplies, and room setup.
Kevin also notes the leadership team’s compassion, especially during times of need. Within six months of joining HealthTrust, both Kevin’s mother and his mother-in-law passed away after enduring long stays in the hospital.
“Senior management was incredibly supportive,” Kevin says.
Whenever he needed to leave a little early to be with his family, the management team offered encouragement and allowed him the flexibility to spend the time he needed with his loved ones, which is something he is incredibly thankful for.

“There are some people who just hold everything together in the workplace, and Kevin Marzilli is our go-to-save-the-day-fella at HealthTrust. From my very first day Kevin has provided continuous support and constant smiles. Moving to a new area was hard and starting at a new company was intimidating. Kevin gave me the ins and outs of the company while teaching me the HealthTrust ways. Whether it is a last minute project I am handling or planning ahead for an event, Kevin is there to help. Kevin coordinates anything and everything that goes on in the Sunrise office, which is not an easy job. With ease Kevin saves the day whether it be something dealing with issues within the facility or assisting with other odd jobs- Kevin is there to help. In my eyes, I couldn’t think of anyone that is better qualified to be a HealthTrust hero. The support he provides to the HWS is irreplaceable and for that, he is my HealthTrust hero!”
