ICU nurse Ryan Van Gorp is our next clinical HealthTrust Hero! Ryan saw a patient in need and immediately stepped in to help the patient upon discharge from Centerpoint Medical Center in Missouri. Learn more about Ryan's story:
"Ryan was discharging a patient who was down on his luck and did not have a shirt. Ryan indicated if he could not find a warm shirt/sweater for his patient, he was going to give him his coat because it's too cold to be without right now.
Ryan was getting low censused as the patient was discharged and when he realized this patient did not have transportation and was going to be walking in the cold, he drove the patient home. He really went above and beyond for his patient."
