March is Women’s History Month, a time to remember and celebrate the many influential women in history. These women include; those who fought for women to have the right to vote, work, be treated equally and so much more.
That includes women who have made important contributions to the profession of nursing and also to healthcare in general. Nursing is an essential profession in the healthcare system and has traditionally been a female-dominated profession. Women are a huge part of what keeps our hospitals running smoothly and patients happy.
We are thankful for the many amazing contributions, innovation and progress that women have brought to the world of healthcare. Happy Women’s History Month!
