Juan Valadez wants to make sure his son, Juan Jr., knows his dad is by his side in Las Palmas Medical Center's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), an HCA Healthcare-affiliated facility. The El Paso, Texas father had played the guitar for mom and baby throughout her pregnancy. Valadez says, “The moment I started to play, he started smiling and moving.”
