Providing Relief After Hurricane Michael

When Hurricane Michael made landfall in Florida, HealthTrust was there to help. HealthTrust Workforce Solutions deployed more than 140 clinicians so far to seven HCA Healthcare facilities to join their disaster relief efforts. This involved not only helping facilities that were directly impacted in the Florida panhandle, but also facilities in central Florida that received patients who were evacuated from other hospitals. We would like to thank everyone who took the time to help the people affected by this devastating storm.

As a fully-owned subsidiary of HCA Healthcare, helping people in their greatest time of need is part of everything we do. Through their own disaster relief initiative, HCA Healthcare generously donated $1 million to the American Red Cross to assist those affected by Hurricane Michael. This donation was in addition to the $500,000 previously donated to the Red Cross for Hurricane Florence relief. We are proud to be part of the HCA family, which places the highest priority on the improvement of human life.
