Amanda Mikesell, Office Administrator for Parallon Workforce Solutions in San Antonio, was recently recognized three times by individual colleagues for exhibiting the core attributes that make PWS truly GREAT— Growth, Recognition, Engagement, Appreciation and Teamwork. Amanda's attention to detail, positive attitude, and creativity are just some of the many reasons she was recognized by her colleagues:
- "Amanda is the OA in San Antonio. She has been a member of this team for eight years. Amanda exemplifies what is so great about Parallon. She is an innovator (she was the initial developer of the Patient Satisfaction validation form and the Quarterly RN Evaluation form that is used in the American Group), she is an educator (she was one of our very first Meditech instructors in the company), she is a mentor (she trained and supported the OAs in Dallas, Houston, El Paso and New Orleans), she is a unifier (she is the voice of calm and reason during all of our transitions as a company) and she is a leader (she has taken ownership of the rollout process for WF 2.0 in San Antonio, Austin and El Paso...this is just one example). Amanda has embraced our growth as a company and can clearly see where this direction is taking us. I am always amazed to hear her engage anyone with a negative perspective of PWS. She uses her clinical and operational knowledge to educate people and persuade them to at least consider a different point of view. She does this in a quiet and thoughtful process without antagonizing her audience or lowering her high ethical standards. She does make Parallon GREAT...and makes all of us around her great as well!"
