For the first quarter of 2021, we have highlighted below a few Central Region (Texas) employees who went above and beyond in their service to colleagues and clinicians.
January Employees of the MonthBrittany Gibson: Regional Operations Manager

Brittany has demonstrated her value in many ways during her tenure at HealthTrust since she joined in April 2017. As a Regional Operations Manager, Brittany manages the onboarding team and office administrators for HealthTrust's North Texas and Central and West Texas teams. She has been consistently recognized for being approachable, reliable, and knowledgeable. Aside from Brittany's professional endeavors, Brittany enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
“The best part of my job is getting people to work and knowing that we are impacting care. My team handles everything on the backend so that our business operations run smoothly," says Brittany. "It feels good to be recognized since a lot of work goes into what my team produces!"
Priya Bedi: Regional Operations Manager

Priya has been making her impact within HealthTrust Workforce Solutions for a little over two years. Within her role as a Regional Operations Manager, Priya is responsible for all operational-related items for the Gulf Coast and San Antonio Divisions, which includes managing a team of five onboarding specialists and two office administrators. Outside of work, Priya loves to cook and to try new restaurants. Also, Priya enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures.
"The best part hands down is knowing that I'm impacting patient care. There is a lot that goes into operations; however, it is often behind-the-scenes," says Priya. "It felt nice to be recognized to know that those around me notice all of the work that goes into running the operations for two large divisions within HCA."
February Employees of the Month
Heather Serrano: Sr. Regional Recruiter

Heather, who has been with HealthTrust Workforce Solutions for almost 5 years, has been recognized as a significant part of the recruiting success for the Central Region and the organization as a whole. As a Senior Regional Recruiter for the Central Region, Heather is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and hiring qualified registered nurses and Allied Healthcare professionals to be placed on assignments locally, whether it be on a contract or per diem basis. Also, Heather is responsible for training all newly hired recruiters on the Central Region team. Aside from work, Heather loves to cook, travel, spending time with family and attending her children's sporting events.
"The best part of my job is making a difference every day that I am at work. Whether it be recruiting and hiring qualified professionals to provide spectacular care in our facilities or assisting a newly hiring recruiter obtain their first candidate, I love every aspect of my job!" says Heather. "I felt extremely honored to be recognized by my peers and leaders for my hard work and dedication. I am always one who enjoys going above and beyond in my role and am truly grateful to be a part of such a fabulous team!"
Danielle Latimore: Staffing Recruiter

Danielle has been creating a positive impact within HealthTrust Workforce Solutions who has been with HealthTrust Workforce Solutions for a little over one year. As a Staffing Recruiter, Danielle is responsible for recruiting nurses in the Gulf Coast and San Antonio regions. Danielle recruits nurses who are specifically interested in per diem and local contract opportunities. Danielle has been recognized for taking on the San Antonio COVID Clinic project and for going above and beyond for facilities and candidates. After an eventful day at work, Danielle enjoys exercising, shopping and eating!
"The best part of my job is building rapport with nurses and the facility staff. I get to spend my days speaking with them and understanding their career aspirations. I love finding out how I can help!" says Danielle. "It felt great to earn Employee of the Month. I like to lead by example and this showed me that others appreciate my leadership as well."

Quiondra Bell: Regional Recruiter

Quiondra has been able to continue her positive impact with HealthTrust Workforce Solutions for over seven years. As a Regional Recruiter, Quiondra is responsible for making sure hospitals are adequately staffed by helping supply quality talent. By sourcing, recruiting, and hiring exceptional candidates, Quiondra can make sure that hospitals have the right staff members that can help enhance success. Quiondra was recognized for her willingness to share her extensive knowledge with colleagues within her region and for assisting in the recruitment efforts for the Optum project in North Texas.
"The best part of my jobs is knowing that I've made an impact on my community directly and nationwide. This can only be achieved by making sure that our HCA facilities are adequately staffing. The 2nd best part of my job is to be able to work with so many hard working and knowledge individuals," says Quiondra. "The Employee of the Month recognition was amazing. It's always nice to be recognized by your peers and superiors for doing what you love to do!"
Michelle Tillman: Account Manager

Michelle has able to create a significant impact in extensive 13 year tenure with HealthTrust Workforce Solutions. As an Account Manager, Michelle is responsible for managing Local Contracts as well as the relationships that she has with her facilities. Michelle has been recognized for the value that she continues to provide to the organization, partners and patients. Also, Michelle has been identified as an employee who offers her clinical expertise whenever needed and for being an instrumental resource for the entire region. When Michelle is not working, Michelle loves to spend time with friends and family. Also, Michelle enjoys traveling as well.
"The best part of my job is the collaboration with so many different people and departments," says Michelle. "We are all working towards the same mission."
