Mary Frederico works for Parallon Workforce Solutions at Menorah Medical Center in the Kansas City area. In honor of Nurses Week, the healthcare system shared a story in which late one evening this spring, a 90-year-old woman fell bringing a letter out to her mailbox and broke her hip. The woman was taken to the hospital, but couldn't recall any phone numbers to notify her family members, who were all in the process of flying into town to celebrate her 90th birthday. Mary volunteered to physically track down her granddaughter, based on information the woman provided about the area and vicinity in which she lived.

Anna Durco, RN
Anna Durco works for Parallon Workforce Solutions at HCA healthcare systems in West Florida. In honor of Nurses Week, our team shared that they regularly hear of the exceptional way in which Anna cares for both her patients and their families. She is frequently requested to work at our facilities across the region. When we asked Anna about what drives her commitment to care, she shared with us that she also works part-time as a greeter at Disney's Animal Kingdom! It is this innate hospitality and passion for helping others that shines through in the way in which she cares for everyone she interacts with- theme park guests, co-workers, patients and their families. According to Anna, "Nursing is both rewarding and hard work, but making a difference is truly the fun part!"
