Parallon Workforce Solutions team members throughout Central Texas recently came together to host a blood donation drive, donating more than 16 pints of blood to help others throughout their community and beyond.

There are nearly 14.5 million people living with and beyond cancer in the U.S. today, and more than 32 million cancer survivors worldwide. On Sunday, June 5, 2016, communities around the world will gather to recognize these cancer survivors as part of the 29th annual National Cancer Survivors Day®.

The PWS team in Houston came together on May 26th in celebration of Red Nose Day, a campaign dedicated to helping children and having fun. Proceeds benefit children and young people in the US and some of the poorest communities in the world. 

Parallon Workforce Solutions is a proud partner of the United Way of Broward County and is honored to have had the opportunity to recognize and celebrate women of dignity, stregnth and perserverance making a difference in our community at the 2016 Magnolia Luncheon.  

The Denver-based Parallon Workforce Solutions team has been a supporter of Valverde Elementary School for the past year.  The team has participated in a number of fundraising activitites to collect school supplies and books. They have also donated their time to speak to the students about bullying and helped the administration with the school registration process. Most recently the team fundraised to donate 6 new tablets to students, which will help the students better prepare for upcoming state testing assessments.
