HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is proud to spotlight the Finance Shared Services Department. This department is broken into five teams: Billing, Shared Services Operations, Customer Service Payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

The U.S. economy rebounded in June, adding a robust 224,000 jobs and breaking the record for the longest period of economic growth in U.S. history. June’s hiring ramp up added three times as many new jobs as the previous month. The unemployment rate ticked up slightly, reaching 3.7% nationally and 2.6% within healthcare.

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is proud to congratulate our recent graduates of the Leadership Development Program! This year-long program is designed to cultivate the continuous growth and professional development of our team members through formal mentorship, leadership exercises, presentation skills development and more.

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is proud to recognize the Credentialing Department. This department is broken up into five teams, Per Diem, Travel, StaRN, Quality Assurance and the Verified Professionals Team, also known as DHP. These teams are responsible for obtaining  and evaluating documentation regarding a clinician’s background check, education, training, work history, licensure, regulatory compliance record and more prior to a provider being permitted to provide patient care at one of our client facilities.

The U.S. economy added 75,000 jobs in May and the unemployment rate remained near a 50-year low of 3.6%. The healthcare industry contributed one-fifth of all jobs last month, adding 15,700 jobs. Ambulatory healthcare continued to dominate job growth within the healthcare sector, adding 12,200 jobs. Hospital payrolls grew by 3,000.

Happy National Healthcare Recruiter Recognition Day! In 1991, Congress declared the first Tuesday in June to be National Healthcare Recruiter Recognition Day — celebrated on Tuesday, June 4th this year.

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions recognizes that our healthcare recruiters work tirelessly to find the best clinicians and interim leaders for healthcare facilities across the nation. Without their help, HWS would not have been able to put 25,000 clinicians to work! 

This Military Appreciation Month, we would like to thank all of the active, reserve, and veteran members of the armed forces who serve our country. This Memorial Day, we would also like to take a moment to remember the brave men and women who lost their lives in service to our country. 

Our Nashville office hosts a monthly contest for our local staffing specialists called Staffing Star! Each month, our specialists accumulate points for going above and beyond with helping nurses to book shifts, processing referrals, helping nurses to find new shifts in the event of a cancellation, and more.
