As part of our ongoing organizational commitment to professional development, HealthTrust Workforce Solutions recently hosted a training session focused on recruitment best practices. This training is designed to help our recruiters become more proficient in their day-to-day activities as they work to deliver the highest level candidate experience and connect clinicians with meaningful work.

Congratulations to our August 2019 recruitment training graduates!  Our Professional Development Group hosts a wide variety of training sessions at our corporate office in Sunrise and throughout our regional offices in support of our mission to deliver operational excellence within our high-performance culture.

The U.S. economy created 164,000 new jobs in July and the unemployment rate remained unchanged at 3.7% nationally. The healthcare sector added 30,400 jobs, with nearly all job creation occurring within ambulatory care settings.

Our Account Managers, Division Vice Presidents, Regional Vice Presidents, Clinical Operations team and more gathered at our Sunrise corporate office last week for training and discussion on how we can build stronger partnerships with the healthcare facilities we serve. In addition, the groups engaged in team building activities and social mixers to further strengthen their partnerships with each other. The event was facilitated by our Professional Development Group.

These team members showed tremendous dedication to their nurses by helping them find more shifts, dedication to their facilities by helping them meet their needs, and dedication to their patients by helping them receive the highest quality of care.

The U.S. economy rebounded in June, adding a robust 224,000 jobs and breaking the record for the longest period of economic growth in U.S. history. June’s hiring ramp up added three times as many new jobs as the previous month. The unemployment rate ticked up slightly, reaching 3.7% nationally and 2.6% within healthcare.

This year-long program is designed to cultivate the continuous growth and professional development of our team members through formal mentorship, leadership exercises, presentation skills development and more.

The U.S. economy added 75,000 jobs in May and the unemployment rate remained near a 50-year low of 3.6%. The healthcare industry contributed one-fifth of all jobs last month, adding 15,700 jobs. Ambulatory healthcare continued to dominate job growth within the healthcare sector, adding 12,200 jobs. Hospital payrolls grew by 3,000.

Happy National Healthcare Recruiter Recognition Day! In 1991, Congress declared the first Tuesday in June to be National Healthcare Recruiter Recognition Day — celebrated on Tuesday, June 4th this year.

Our Nashville office hosts a monthly contest for our local staffing specialists called Staffing Star! Each month, our specialists accumulate points for going above and beyond with helping nurses to book shifts, processing referrals, helping nurses to find new shifts in the event of a cancellation, and more.

Recruiters at our South Florida corporate headquarters recently received comprehensive recruitment training! These trainings are held at HWS offices across the country to demonstrate our commitment to operational excellence and cultivating a high-performance culture. Each training is hosted by HWS Vice President of Professional Development John Ruffini.
