As a new graduate with almost a year of floor experience, I want to offer a fresh perspective of things you probably didn’t learn in nursing school.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the U.S. added 161,000 new jobs in October and the unemployment rate fell below 5% again with the labor market continuing to tighten.  Once again the healthcare sector lead the way, adding 31,000 jobs last month accounting for 19% of all job growth during that month.
