Strong Job Gains in February, Healthcare Continues to Add An Average of 30K Jobs Each Month
The February 2017 U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Employment Report indicated that the country created 27,000 new healthcare jobs in February. Ambulatory care and hospital jobs increased by 64 percent and 50 percent, respectively, from January to February, while the unemployment rate remained steady across the two months.
