Coliseum Health System is comprised of Coliseum Medical Centers and Coliseum Northside Hospital, two medical/surgical campuses with 413 beds designed to meet the comprehensive medical needs of central Georgia. Both of these HCA facilities include a 24-hour emergency room with areas shortest wait times, inpatient and outpatient surgery options, rehabilitation programs, and diagnostic services.

While national job growth slowed from 326,000 in February to just over 100,000 in March, healthcare continued to climb by adding 22,400 jobs last month, an 18% increase over February. Both the national unemployment rate and the healthcare unemployment rate remained steady month-over-month. 

Our Running Club kicked off this week at our Sunrise corporate office! Eight of our team members with different fitness levels met after work for an easy run at a steady pace.

Our Nashville team participated in the United Way's Reading Days of Action! The team spent time reading to children, collecting book donations, and packing books for the children served by the United Way of Metropolitan Nashville. We would like to thank all of our team members for helping to share the joy of reading.

ICU nurse Ryan Van Gorp is our next clinical HealthTrust Hero! Ryan saw a patient in need and immediately stepped in to help the patient upon discharge from Centerpoint Medical Center in Missouri. Learn more about Ryan's story:

"Ryan was discharging a patient who was down on his luck and did not have a shirt. Ryan indicated if he could not find a warm shirt/sweater for his patient, he was going to give him his coat because it's too cold to be without right now.
