Our next clinical HealthTrust Hero is Emmanuel Moturi, RN! 

Although Emmanuel may look like a nurse, but he could not hide his wings from one family. Described as an angel sent to help them while their father was passing away, this Hero used his inner light to guide the patient and his family through this difficult time. We're giving our team members HealthTrust Workforce Solutions t-shirts to wear on their adventures! Whether they travel around town or take a trip across the world, we'll be sharing photos of our HealthTrust family Living the Workforce Way. 

At HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, we help nurses find the right jobs to fit their lifestyles. We recently created an online quiz for nurses to explore new career opportunities based on their preferences and interests. Through more than 800 responses over a five-week period, here is what we learned.

The U.S. economy continued to rebound for the second consecutive month in a row by adding 228,000 jobs in November, showing strong signs of a healthy economy that has recovered after historic back-to-back hurricanes.  

The healthcare sector accounted for nearly 13% of all job creation last month, contributing 29,500 jobs to the overall employment picture. November marked the 86^th consecutive month of job growth, with the unemployment rate remaining unchanged at 4.1%.

We are hosting our annual holiday toy drive to support Kids in Distress! Employees in our Sunrise corporate office are encouraged to bring in new, unwrapped toys for children between the ages of 4 and 12. The toys will be collected by the Recruitment team on the 6th floor through Friday, December 15. 

Nearly 70 HealthTrust Workforce Solutions team members volunteered for the United Way of Broward County's Day of Caring today at the BB&T Center! 

This annual event supports the local community through packaging and distributing meals to families in need. Overall, 300,000 meals of rice and beans, as well as macaroni and cheese, were packaged by the event's volunteers.

Payroll Manager Claudine Chambers-Sewell is our next corporate HealthTrust Hero! Claudine and her team were recognized for their tireless work following the Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma disaster relief efforts.

We would like to wish you a happy Thanksgiving on behalf of the entire HealthTrust Workforce Solutions family. We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to the nurses, physicians, corporate staff, and other team members who continue to entrust their careers to us. 

In the spirit of giving, we have made a donation to the American Red Cross to support their ongoing Hurricane Maria relief efforts in Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. The donation was made on behalf of our clinical and corporate team members.
