Our permanent placement staffing partners recently came to our Sunrise corporate office for an afternoon of interactive discussions about how to best partner together to put more people to work throughout the healthcare industry. We would like to thank all of our partners who attended the event! 

We hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July! Our regional offices in Dallas and Houston celebrated the holiday with lots of laughter, food, and fun.

Our Sunrise office celebrated the upcoming 4th of July holiday with a free lunch of hotdogs, chips, and cupcakes! This lunch was sponsored by our Employee Advisory Group as part of our Summer of 2018 Celebration. 

Our San Antonio and Austin teams volunteered at the San Antonio Food Bank's Community Kitchen on the Haven for Hope campus. The group prepared food, packed lunches, cleaned the kitchen, and served dinner to 439 at-risk individuals and families residing at the shelter. The team says that meeting the people they were serving and listening to their stories was a humbling and moving experience. 

May is Military Appreciation Month! We would like to thank all of the active, reserve, and veteran members of the armed forces who serve our country. We would also like to thank all the veterans who stopped by our booth at the Veterans Construction Job Fair to chat with two veterans of our own, Christopher Cannella and Olivier Civil. 

Our Nashville team recently visited their local Ronald McDonald House! Together, the team cooked breakfast for the 30 families who were staying at the home. We'd like to thank our Nashville office for a job well done!

HWS VP of Enterprise Consulting Rich Lopez was recently honored by Mississippi State University's Bagley College of Engineering as a distinguished fellow for his commitment to the field of engineering. Rich began his career as a productivity engineer and now is part of our inSight Advisory services, where he works to optimize staff deployment, implement core hiring strategy, and more. 

Our parent company, HCA Healthcare, recently shared a plan to invest $300 million in nursing benefits over the next three years. In addition, HCA is putting $10.5 billion dollars toward facility expansion and upgrades.

Our Running Club kicked off this week at our Sunrise corporate office! Eight of our team members with different fitness levels met after work for an easy run at a steady pace.
